Progress

It's summer... school's out... I don't get to sew much during this time.  I LOVE the uglies that Terrie sent me.  I'm so lucky!!!

I paired them with this (the light color on the right was fabric that I won in a fugly giveaway).

Here's what I got done so far on my "ugly" quilt. I will definitely have to rename it. This is about a third or so of it... It is also sideways in the pic. I am falling in love with more and more as I go. It's Cafe Mocha pattern by Amanda Murphy. You can find the pattern here. This quilt is definitely worth the time I am putting in to it!   Once I get done with my monthly swap obligations I only have time left for about a row or two per week.  But slowly this quilt will come together.  I'm so proud of it right now!

These "ugly" quilts keep getting more and more beautiful! From now on I think no-one should talk about ugly fabrics without asking anyone elses opinion :)

Wowza! says it all. If you are looking for this pattern it was published in the "Quiltmaker"
Magazine # 138 March/April 2011. I am totally in love with this pattern. Now to find the right fabric to pair with it. Hmmm!
